The following accounts were taken from reports filed with the Columbia County Sheriff's office.

Marina theft

Several items were reported stolen from a storage shed at Little River Marina on Oct. 7.

According to Pamela Parker Bugg, the owner and manager of Little River Marina on Old Lincolnton Road in Appling, someone took a framed picture, two table lamps and a paddle boat, reports showed.

An investigation determined that there was no forced entry and the storage shed was locked at the time.

Fairgrounds burglary

The owner of a trailer located at the Columbia County Fairgrounds in Appling reported on Oct. 10 the burglary of several items from his residence.

Jason Ross Lambert, who had been staying at the trailer while he worked for the carnival there, said a television, VCR, television receiver and $350 in compact discs were taken, according to records.

He said the thefts must have occurred sometime during Oct. 8 and 10.
