Juvenile Diabetes Walk-A-Thon

On Sept. 22, at 7 a.m., more than 50 JROTC cadets from the Evans High School Knight Battalion converged on Savannah Rapids Pavilion. They set up tables and chairs, put out trash cans, unloaded food, tied up balloons anddirected cars where to park for the annual Juvenile Diabetes Walk-A-Thon.The cadets served breakfast and lunch to participants and helped people sign a big condolence card for the victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attack in New York.
