Evans High School freshman Nina Talukdar along with her sister Runa Talukdar, a senior at the University of South Carolina, Columbia, recently danced the ''Bharata Natyam,'' a classical dance from Southern India, at the Hindu Temple of Augusta.

The ''Bharata Natyam'' is an ancestoral tradition from religious ceremonies, performed in the temples and royal courts. The program was the first of its' kind in Augusta, according to the girls's father Baren Talukdar.
