Once one school called, Rashad Roundtree’s phone has rarely stopped ringing.
Over the past few weeks, the Lakeside football star has been flooded with offers. Now he gets another, though different, kind of invitation: he was asked to play in the prestigious 2015 Under Armour All-America Game alongside other top high school prospects.
The game, to be played in early 2015 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., will be televised by ESPN.
“It’s a huge honor,” Roundtree said. “I watch it every year on TV, so just to be a part of it is really amazing.”
