For Ryan Jolly, this time of year is all about being organized.
The Augusta Prep junior basketball standout has a planner at school that helps him balance academics and athletics. He tries to get his homework finished before basketball practice. Then, he heads home where he'll study for another two, three hours.
"I try to stay organized as much as possible," he said.
Academics is a big thing for Jolly, who also grew up in a sports-minded family. He grew up playing baseball, basketball, football and lacrosse. In seventh grade, he began focusing solely on basketball.
