If experience is the key to a winning season, Marty Jackson and his Evans Knights may be in for a good year.
The Knights finished 3-7 in 2011, but were a young team playing a lot of sophomores.
“We started so many babies last year that we got experience,” said Jackson, who called the Knights a junior team.
Jackson said he was worn down by the end of last year but is feeling revitalized heading into his 10th season.
“We’re going to have some fun and get after it this year,” he said.
