Mackenzie Clark recently became the first girls wrestling champion at Evans High School, and she's got the belt to prove it.
Last month, the sophomore won the Georgia Girls State Championship in Marietta. Not bad for someone who just started wrestling late last fall.
The 15-year-old Clark was looking for a new way to get out her aggression. She grew up playing sports like t-ball, baseball, soccer and volleyball. In October, her mother, Marci Holsonbake, mentioned wrestling to her.
