I came across a story this week on USA football that I first thought was a joke, but apparently the author, Peter Schwartz, was serious.
It essentially said that coaches aren’t babysitters and took to task those parents who do not spend the entire time at each child’s practice.
Yes, Allen Iverson, practice.
Now, I won’t say anything about those who choose to open their folding chairs and spend the whole time at their son’s or daughter’s practices. If that’s something they want to do and coaches don’t object, more power to them.
