It is hard to imagine Josh Whitaker being overshadowed. First off, he is a 6-3, 225-pound beast of an athlete. He led Augusta Christian Schools to three consecutive state titles during his outstanding prep career, and he is now playing baseball professionally. However, he has not gotten the full attention he deserves.
In 2005, as a sophomore, he hit an astounding .485 at the plate and led ACS to a state championship, however, that season a scrawny freshman named Nolan Belcher burst on the scene.
