Posted: September 13, 2017 - 1:05am

Evans knocked off its second consecutive Richmond County opponent to get over the .500 mark this season.

The Knights jumped out front early and rolled to a 49-6 victory at home Friday night against Glenn Hills. The victory comes a week after Evans defeated Laney, 48-7.

With their latest win, Evans improved to 2-1 entering this week's non-region contest Friday night at Washington County. The Knights will look to avenge last season's 20-19 home loss to the Golden Hawks.

Against Glenn Hills, Corey Watkins rushed 12 times for 185 yards and three touchdowns. Quarterback Damekus Taylor completed five of 11 pass attempts for 146 yards and two touchdowns.
