• Sports Academy South, Inc. Youth Spring Break Camp is Monday to Friday at the Liberty Park Community Center in Grovetown from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with free early drop off at 7 a.m. and late pick up at 5:30 p.m. For boys and girls ages 5 to 15, the cost is $110 and $100 for a second sibling or $30 per day per child. • The Marshall Family Y Masters Week Camp is Monday to Friday at Wesley United Methodist Church for children ages 5 to 12. Register at any Family Y or online by today. Cost for members is $8 per week or $25 a day; for non-members, cost is $120 per week or $40 a day. Camp activities are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with an early drop-off at 7 a.m. and late pick-up at 6 p.m. Contact Shonna Sargent at (706) 922-9658.

• The Spring Break Basketball Camp hosted by William Avery for those ages 6 to 14 benefitting the Augusta Warrior Project will be held at Grovetown High School from Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $140. Go to www.WillAveryCamps.com.

Baseball Classic Tryouts

Tryouts for the All-County Classic 2014 on April 26 and April 27 will be April 15 and, April 16 at Greenbrier Middle School from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. for seventh and eighth-graders who played for their middle school team this year. Seventh-graders will be evaluated on April 15 and eighth-graders on April 16. Register at Hometown Sports thru April 12. There will be no late sign-ups after the deadline. Football combine

The Schuman National Underclassmen Combine, Showcase and 7 on 7 Tournament will be held at Grovetown High School in conjunction with Sports Academy South on May 4. Football evaluations are done for second- to 11th-graders. Go to www.nucsports.com for prices, registration information and times.

Tennis Play Days

The CSRA Professional Tennis Association has Grand Slam Play Days for tennis players 10 years old and younger. There will be four events corresponding with the professional events. Cost is $15 with online registration. Call Petersburg Racquet Club at (706) 860-9288 or go to www.prctennis.com.

Early Sign-ups

The Evans Knights Pop Warner football team will have sign-ups at Academy Sports on July 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Players ages 5 to 15 should sign up early to secure a spot for football and cheerleading.
