The Woodbridge Beavers made sure they completed their CSRA Swim League Division 5 meet against Augusta Jewish Community Center Tuesday.

The teams completed 26 of the scheduled 77 races in a little over an hour before a weather delay. After allowing the storm to passed, the squads went back to the pool and the Beavers won 333-222 in 66 races.

Now, with one meet left in the regular season, the Beavers are in much the same position as they were in 2012.

Last year the Beavers were 3-0 facing a 2-1 Rivershyre squad with a chance to claim the regular-season title with a win in the final meet of the year. The Beavers lost to the Tigersharks, however, throwing Division 4 into a three-way tie with Knob Hill.

The Beavers are 3-0 and will play host to the 3-0 Tigersharks on Tuesday in the season’s final regular season meet, with the Division 5 meet on Friday.

Helping ensure they kept their umblemished record, the Beavers were paced by five triple winners: Brennan Day, Erin Day, Ellie Polhill, Haley Rhodes and Garrett Singletary.

Double winners for the Beavers were Houston Barbee, Emma Polhill, Kyle Puffer, Levi Smith, Mariah Smith and Harleigh Weston.

For AJCC, Ben Budenstein and JT Rutledge were triple winners while Kinley Awad, David Dyer and Elijah Woods were double winners.
