The Hayden's Gymnastics' Senior Teal Team won the National Cheerleading Championships in Atlanta, Feb. 17-19. Team members are McKenzie Allen, Kenya Brown, Tatum Brown, Brianna Cochran, Emily Cook, Jasmyn Cornell, Payton Duke, Summer Huffin, Brandy Jenkins, Brittni Kotas, Christie Linton, Lindsey Price, Dylan Smith, Bailey Spencer, Prater Thigpen, Tiffany Todd, Kristen Walker, Alison Wedereit, Hailee Welker, and Avery Williams. Registration is under way for T-ball at the Marshall Family Y. T-ball school for 4- to 5-year-olds costs $40 for members and $60 for nonmembers. • During April, Sparkle Express Car Wash, at 4393 Washington Road in Evans, is having a fundraiser for the 11U Venom travel baseball team. The team will receive $3 from each $9.99 car wash from customers who enter code 3035.

Cycling

The Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundation will hold its ninth annual Best Dam Bicycle Ride 8:30 a.m. Sunday at Clarks Hill Dam. It is open to cyclists of all ages and abilities and consists of 25-, 58-, 80- and 100-mile options. There will be a mountain bike course on the historic Bartram Trail. To register, visit Chain Reaction Bicycles in Martinez, or go to www.active.com. The cost is $35 per rider and children under 12 ride free if accompanied by an adult. All proceeds benefit the burn foundation.

Golf tourneys

• The “Father D” Memorial Right-to-Life Golf Tournament will be held April 21 with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. at the Bartram Trail Golf Course. Tournament organizers currently are seeking hole sponsors. Sponsorships cost $100. Organizers also are seeking contributors for awards and prizes. Rodeo

Rodeo Nights will be held April 20-22 at the Columbia County Fairgrounds. Proceeds benefit the Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundation. Gates open April 20-21 at 5:30 p.m., with rodeo action starting at 7:30 p.m. Gates open April 22 at 12:30 p.m., with the rodeo beginning at 2:30 p.m. Advance tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 5 to 12, free for kids under 5, and burn survivors are free.
