Hayden’s Gymnastics Level 7 team from Evans competed at the Gasparilla Classic meet in St. Peters­burg, Fla., on Feb. 24-26, and the Courtney Kupets Invitational in Savannah, Ga., on March 9-11, finishing first both times.

At the Gasparilla Meet, Hayden’s squared off against teams from throughout the U.S., the Bahamas, Canada, Cayman Islands, Colombia, Jamaica, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Venezuela, finishing first with a score of 113.725.

In the Junior A group, Jaiyviah Mills took first place all-around after taking first on the floor and vault, second on the beam and sixth on the bars. Bailey Kozlowski was third on the vault and finished in sixth place all-around. Jamie Rosenblum was fourth on the beam, fifth on the floor and 10th place all-around.

In Junior B’s, Rachel Sidow was first all-around after finishing first on the floor, third on the bars and beam and sixth on the vault.

Katie Bell Fulcher was third all-around in the Junior C division, finishing first on the beam, fourth on the bars and sixth on floor.

In the Senior A division, Juliana Van Alstine was second all-around with a runner-up finish on the beam and third-place finish on the vault.

Alissa Smith was first all-around in the Senior B division after finishing first on the floor and second on the vault, bars and beam.

At the Courtney Kupets Invitational, the team finished with a team score of 114.3. Individually, in the all-around category, Mills finished in second place for Junior A while Kozlowski was fifth and Rosenblum was seventh. In Junior B, Sidow tied for first place. Bell Fulcher took first place in Junior C, Van Alstine was first in Senior A and Smith was first in Senior B.
