The Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundation (SFBF) will hold its ninth annual Best Dam Bicycle Ride April 15 at 8:30 a.m. at J. Strom Thurmond at Clarks Hill Dam. It is open to cyclists of all ages and abilities and consists of 25-, 58-, 80- and 100-mile options. There will be a mountain bike course on the historic Bartram Trail. Easter Seals East Georgia is partnering with the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) to host the “Easter Seals Disc Golf Classic” on April 28 at the PDGA International Disc Golf Center at Wildwood Park. Cost is $40 for individuals and $150 for teams of four, with proceeds benefiting those with disabilities. Awards will be given to the top five winners of each division.
