School is out and the heat has finally arrived full force, so it can only mean one thing: It’s time for summer swim leagues to start.
And while others will be lounging by the pool, it is expected that 2,300 swimmers will be practicing and competing. With practices already in full swing across the area, the CSRA Swim League will begin its season on Tuesday, June 2.
“It’s going to be another short sprint for the summer league,” said swim league president Keith Hendry. “We have about six weeks to get in about eight weeks of swimming.”
