The Augusta Christian Lady Lions finished out a grueling early-season schedule on a high note, beating Fox Creek 52-32 Tuesday night.
“We’ve played six games in eight days, it’s been a long stretch for us,” said Lady Lions coach Wayne Marchant, whose team won’t play again until after Christmas.
“Of those six games, five have been on the road. We’ve had a tough stretch. We knew it was going to be a tough stretch for us, especially with a really young team, but I think we’ve handled it very well.”
