BRUNSWICK, GA. — An old school tradition is dying.
In fact, the school lunch swap is already buried in some places, thanks to the conversion of school cafeterias to food courts with more selections than some malls.
Brunswick High, with its 14 menu lines, is a good example. Fit City has fruit salad, Caesar salad and chicken salad. It’s Thursday, so there are calzones in the Italian section. There is even some corn, green beans, mashed potatoes and other good old home cooking.
