“Hmmmm,” was my reply.
I’ve long had a love/hate relationship with cats. Mostly, I’m suspicious. Cats strike me as terribly judgmental and rude. They keep to themselves and you never quite know what they’re up to. They can be off-putting and, well, snobs.
To boot, I grew up next door to a family that for a short season had too many cats. You don’t get over that quick. There’s just something about cats – plural – that can be, well, creepy.
