Those who are working on Gov. Nathan Deal’s re-election campaign for 2014 might be feeling a little nervous right now.

Two recent polls – one from a Republican-aligned polling firm and one by a Democratic firm – show that Deal does not get very high marks for the job he has done as governor.

The Democratic poll found that only 36 percent of Georgia voters approve of Deal, while the Republican poll put the governor’s approvals at 38 percent.

The accolades keep rolling in for the Lady Antebellum Pavilion.

The latest is the Engineering Excellence Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies and the Georgia Society of Professional Engineers.

The Evans Towne Center Park pavilion was one of five structures around the state – and the only one outside the Atlanta area – to grab the recognition. Augusta engineering and architectural design firm Johnson Laschober and Associates P.C. picked up the prize during a recent event at Georgia Tech.

The term “moronic” is defined as “notably stupid or lacking in good judgment.” It is frequently used as an insult.

The Obama administration is moronic.

This is not an insult.
