Lee Anderson is running for Congress. He says he won’t debate John Barrow because Barrow might vote for Nancy Pelosi for speaker. His apologists say Barrow is a skilled, trained orator with whom Lee cannot compare in verbal communication. This is misleading. Lee Anderson and his handlers don’t want you to learn the truth about his awful record in the Georgia House.
They are trying to turn conservatives into a herd of sheep blindly voting for a guy who has proven hostile to the interests of middle class Georgians. Pelosi is reviled for famously blurting that Congress has to pass a bill for her (and us) to find out what is in it. Well, Anderson hasn’t read or understood much of anything he voted for in the Legislature. Anderson voted for huge tax increases, power bill increases on us, and for huge expansions of Georgia’s government. He has taken socialist farm subsidies. He wants nothing to do with government reform, having supported the rotten leaders of the Georgia Legislature.
This writer knows these things perfectly well, having been deeply involved in Anderson’s election to the Georgia Legislature. Anderson is pulling the same stunt that he pulled on us, his 2008 supporters. Vote for the nice man on the tractor. Just don’t ask him questions, because you will find out that the best conservative in this race is the Democrat, John Barrow.
Being represented by Barrow in Congress means getting a Harvard-educated lawyer who knows how to read legislation, what it means, and how to keep it from harming people in the 12th Congressional District. Because the district tends to not support him, he has every reason to try to please us conservatives. Lee Anderson won’t represent you; he will embarrass you and have no credibility in Congress. This isn’t a trade thinking voters should be willing to make.
