Toastmasters Youth Leadership

The UGA Toastmaster Teen Leadership Program will take place June 5-9 at the Columbia County 4-H Extension Office in Appling, from 1 to 5 p.m. daily. Cost is $55 to attend. Library book sale

The Columbia County Friends of the Library Book Sale is set for 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday June 4 at the Evans branch. Fiction and nonfiction books will be on display in the foyer of the library.

The fifth annual Concerned Women Inc. Charity Golf Tournament June 10, at Bartram Trail Golf Course, begins with lunch at noon. Glow Run for the Fallen

Tri the Parks - Mistletoe State Park in Appling, July 15. The Mistletoe State Park race is part of the Tri the Parks series. Participants will swim 600 meters in Clarks Hill Lake, bike 11.8 miles outside of the park over rolling hills and run a 5k through the park's roads.
