Plume sale fundraiser

Plume sale fundraiser

During halftime shows in October, the Evans High School Marching Knights will wear pink plumes as part of their uniform. The plumes can be purchased in memory of or for a loved one. Proceeds from the campaign will be donated to the Evans High School Relay for Life team. Pumpkin patch

Marvin Corner Pump­kin Patch will be open through Oct. 31, from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday-Friday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at Marvin United Methodist Church, 4400 Wheeler Road. Pumpkins, gourds, mums and straw are for sale to support missions and outreach; marvinchurch.com.

Republican Women’s Club

The CSRA Republican Women’s Club’s monthly meeting will be at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, at the Jones Creek Clubhouse off Evans to Locks Road. Christian college fair

A masquerade ball
