Yard, bake sale
Columbia County Memorial Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6445 will have a yard/bake sale 8 a.m. to 1p.m. Sept. 21 at the post, 6423 Wrightsboro Road, near Pumpkin Center. Breakfast is 9:30-11:30 a.m., and the annual turkey shoot begins at 2 p.m.
