Christmas season begins with several community events, including the lighting of Columbia County’s new Christmas tree.
The Columbia County Orchestra will sponsor the fourth annual Handel’s Messiah Sing-In at 6 p.m. today at West Acres Baptist Church, Gibbs Road, Evans, in the worship center. During November, the owners of Sparkle Express Car Wash, 4393 Washington Road, Evans, will donate a portion of each $9.99 car wash to the Columbia County Foundation for Children when patrons enter code 3016.
