About 15 members of the Knights of Columbus from St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church and their family members cleaned up the yard of retired and disabled priest the Rev. Bill Peterson in Shadowmoor. Nearly 100 bags of leaves and debris were hauled away from the home.

When the Rev. Bill Peterson, a retired and disabled priest, asked for help with maintenance around his house, the Knights of Columbus from St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church were quick to respond. About 15 members of the men’s charitable organization, some with their children in tow, descended on the retired priest’s Shadowmoor home and began raking leaves and cutting limbs. Within four hours, nearly 100 bags of leaves and debris had been hauled off. They cleaned out and repaired the gutters, cut tree limbs down that were overhanging the roof, removed rotten landscaping timbers and spread fresh pine straw. Peterson is a former chaplain of the Knights and parochial vicar at St. Teresa’s.
