Carolyn Granade, daughter of Georgia Power employee Jim Granade, who works as a project manager at the company's Evans office, is one of 21 students to receive a Georgia Power scholarship. Carolyn is a graduate of Lakeside High School and attends Georgia Tech, where she majors in chemical BE engineering.
Billy Ferguson (from left), Stephanie Fransoso, Bridget Lyons, and Michael Baura, all 2006 graduates of Greenbrier High School, participated in the white coat ceremony for sophomores at Georgia Health Sciences University College of Dental Medicine. The ceremony symbolizes the onset of the students' clinical training and emphasizes ethical behavior and professionalism.
