Parkway Baptist Church is holding Hope for the Haydens, a fundraiser for Dusty Hayden, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at 2543 William Few Parkway in Evans. Hayden is battling esophageal cancer. Activities including a silent auction, bake sale, children's activities and $5 barbecue plates.

The city of Harlem is collecting old flags for proper disposal by the Woodmen of the World. Flags may be dropped off through Thursday, Flag Day, at City Hall, 320 N. Louisville St.
During the month of June, Sparkle Express Car Wash at 4393 Washington Road, Evans, is conducting a fundraiser for the 10U Predators travel baseball team. The team will receive $3 from each $9.99 or more car wash from customers who enter code 3040.

Run for Aimee
Run for Aimee, a 5K fundraiser run/walk to help Burn Center patient Aimee Copeland, will be held 8 a.m. June 30 at Savannah Rapids Pavilion. Cost is $25 per runner, with registration due by June 25. Sign up at www.active.com.
