Car wash
A car wash to honor late police officers Scotty Richardson, J.D. Paugh and Sandra Rogers will be held noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at Southern Siding and Window, 259 Bobby Jones Expressway. All proceeds go to the officers’ families. For information, call (706) 736-5555.
Fundraiser
During April, Sparkle Express Car Wash on Belair Road is donating a portion of any car wash costing $9.99 or more to the Grovetown Band of Warriors for customers who use code 4026. Band members also will hold a car wash and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Sparkle Express.
Faith series

Car wash
The Harlem High Drama cast and crew of Bye Bye Birdie will hold a carwash fundraiser for cystic fibrosis 3-6 p.m. Friday at O’Reilly Auto Parts, 5125 Wrightsboro Road, Grovetown.
Benefit dinner
The Columbia County Foundation for Children will hold its Spring Fling Benefit Dinner 4-7 p.m. April 19 at Wesley United Methodist Church. Tickets cost $8 for one plate, $15 for two. Turkey shoot
The Grovetown Lions Club will have a summer turkey shoot starting Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m., and continuing through September on the second weekend of each month at 1200 Old Louisville Road.
