GSU Dean’s List

The following students were recognized for academic excellence on the 2011 summer semester Dean’s List at Georgia Southern University: Michael D. Greer from Evans and Andrew Collins from Thomson.

NGC&SU President’s List

Brianna Ruth Lowrie, of Martinez, has been named to the 2011 summer semester President’s List at North Georgia College and State University for academic excellence.

Armstrong Dean’s List

The following students were named to the spring 2011 Dean’s List at Armstrong Atlantic State University: Jacob Tilton, a pre-education physical education and health major from Evans; Aron Ferguson, a health science major from Grovetown; Paige Newman, a pre-education early childhood major from Grovetown; Annaliza Borba, a visual arts major from Augusta; Lauren McDonagh, a liberal studies major from Augusta; and Crystal Thigpen, a rehabilitation sciences major from Augusta.

Van Beaty, a chemistry major, has been named to the summer 2011 Dean’s List at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Ga.

USC Aiken grads

The following students received their degrees at commencement exercises in August from USC-Aiken: Richard Chad Muns, of Evans; Renee Elizabeth Barber, Cum Laude, of Grovetown; and Keith Lane Pierce, of Martinez

SCAD Dean’s List

Christine Nguyen, of Evans, and Leroy Griffin, of Grovetown, were named to the Dean’s List at the Savannah College of Art and Design for summer quarter 2011. Full-time undergraduate students who earn a grade point average of 3.5 or above for the quarter receive recognition on the Dean’s List.

Clayton State Dean’s List

Gabrielle S. Lamar, of Grovetown, was named to the summer 2011 Dean’s List at Clayton State University.

Miami graduate

Autumn Michele Meade, of Grovetown, was among 684 students from Miami University who graduated in the summer 2011 term. Meade received a bachelor of integrative studies degree.
