C.J. Hendry, a 2007 graduate of Evans High and a 2011 graduate of Florida State University, is training for the 2012 Olympic Swimming Trials at Louisiana State University.
Augusta Prep seniors Alice Hall (from left), Erin Brousseau and Selden Hunnicutt have been named Commended Students in the 2012 National Merit Scholarship Program. Commended Students placed among the top 5 percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2012 competition by taking the 2010 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
Isha Godbold, a junior and varsity basketball player at Evans High School, won a modeling contract from The Casting Board modeling agency through the Augusta Mall model search.
Clayton Perry has earned a 4.0 at Georgia Tech. He earned this honor during the fall 2010 semester. He is a biomedical engineering major and a 2010 graduate of Augusta Christian Schools.
Brian Maleck received his B.S. degree in civil engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a 2007 graduate of Lakeside High School and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Maleck of Martinez. He is in graduate school at Clemson University.
