Students at Blue Ridge Elementary School observed Veterans Day with a program on Friday, Nov.11. Members of the Lakeside High School JROTC presented the colors. Other highlights included recognition of veterans with the Armed Forces Medley, patriotic songs led by fifth grade students, a Slide Show of Heroes, and special guest speaker Col. Mike Brownfield.

Many parents in full uniform joined their sons and daughters at Grovetown Middle School during a patriotic ceremony celebrating our nation's veterans on Friday, Nov. 11.
