Adult volunteers are needed to help with the activities of Girl Scouts troops in Aiken and Edgefield counties.
The volunteers will help organize fun, interactive and girl-led leadership activities.

People from around the area gathered Saturday morning at the North Augusta Greeneway for the Wesley Spires Benefit 5K Run/Walk.
The event raised funds to go toward Spires' medical fund, said his sister, Harriet Smith.
Over the past few weeks, there have been numerous inquiries about "whiteflies" on trees. Reports indicated the trees turned black, and the "whiteflies" were all around the trees. However, these insects aren't whiteflies.
The Friends of Mistletoe State Park will hold a Kids Fishing Rodeo for State Parks Day on Sept. 28 from 9 a.m. to noon. The annual event is always a big draw with local residents and this year's rodeo promises to be a day of fun and learning.
