Jennie Finch will have a Dinner with Champions on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at the North Augusta Community Center.
Finch, an Olympic medalist in softball, will be the guest speaker for the event.
Women must repay
Authorities say two North Augusta women who falsely claimed to be blind have been sentenced to five months in federal prison for receiving about $200,000 in fraudulent Social Security payments.

In my last column, I wrote about Clay Artist of the South East, which is on exhibit at the Arts and Heritage Center of North Augusta. It is a beautiful exhibit and worth your time to stop in and view.
