Register for the Grovetown High School Mini-Camp on Oct. 14 and Oct. 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the high school. The camp is for those in pre-K through sixth grade and costs $50 per camper up to Oct. 11 and $55 after.
Week Six There were 85 entries with 56 contestants qualifying. No contestants picked all 10 games correctly, seven contestants picked nine correctly, 30 picked eight correctly and 19 picked seven games correctly.
The current budget crisis could be resolved if the Speaker of the House of Representatives would allow members to vote on a "clean" continuing resolution, U.S. Rep John Barrow said Monday.
Barrow spoke to a group of constituents Monday morning at the Columbia County Government Complex in Evans. He told those gathered that enough Republican support was there to end the standoff if House Speaker John Boehner will allow a vote that did not include defunding the Affordable Care Act.
