Thanksgiving is the start of the holiday season and the Living History Park is participating by having two free Christmas-themed events.
On Saturday, the park will have its annual Christmas in the Backcountry event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Convenience store robbed
North Augusta Public Safety responded to an armed robbery of the Save Stop convenience store, 10307 Atomic Road, on Nov. 19.
According to an incident report, an employee stated that she was coming from the cooler around 3 a.m.
