The Family Y of North Augusta will have a new home. The new building is included the Project Jackson proposal for the riverfront. It is also included in the development agreement the city approved Dec.

Of­ficials say the North Augusta riverfront development proposal dubbed Project Jackson is still a work in progress. Mayor Lark Jones said, the plan announced Dec. 19 has a long way to go before ground will be broken.
