North Augusta City Council voted May 5 in favor of an ordinance to transfer city land to Greenstone NG, LLC for the construction of Medac's building.

Free water safety course offered
The Family Y of Greater Augusta will have a Swim, Play and Learn Aquatic Safety Habits course during its annual SPLASH week starting Monday and going through May 23.
The week highlights the basics of water safety.
