John Carter knows scary.
Carter, owner of House of Terror, has been in the haunted-house business since he was 13.
Growing up, he would help build things for haunted houses, and act as well.
"I've always liked doing it," he said.

The church held its first Man Up! Rise to the Challenge meeting Thursday to encourage men to be bold in expressing their faith in the church and community, said the Rev. John Meyer.
