It is unlikely that Greenbrier product Connor Sigrist will earn headlines this season. The 6-8 freshman is gaining valuable experience, however. It began last week when the Oglethorpe University basketball team spent several days in Philadelphia.

• The A-Team Winter Camp will be held Sundays between Dec. 15 and Jan. 26 at Riverside Park from 1 to 4 p.m for sixth- through eighth-graders. Cost is $100 and will focus on mechanics and individual position training. Registration deadline is Dec. 7.
