The 42-inch culvert, located about a half mile from the Riverview Park Activities Center that stretches toward Hammond Hills Suburban Club pool, has handled the water flow from the top of North Augusta for at least 50 years, said Rick Meyer, the director of the city's Parks, Recreation and Leisure Services department.

The first phase of the TrueNorth Church campus includes two buildings, each about 22,000 square feet. One is an auditorium that will have close to 1,000 seats with majority of them being stadium seating. The second building will be for the children's programs. Elementary-aged children will meet on one side of the building with two floors and the preschool program will be held on the other side on one floor.
