There has been an increase of late in the number of people mistaking yellow jackets for honeybees and wanting them removed from their yards.
Yellow jackets become more aggressive this time of the year. This may be the reason for more sightings.
Rose growers and enthusiasts will come together for the 71st annual Augusta Rose Show the weekend of Sept. 28, 29 at the Augusta Mall.
