Goalkeeper Jasmine Cole of Evans was named the girls Region 2-AAAAA player of the year after helping her team pull off a first.
The Lady Knights went undefeated in regular season region play for the first time in school history. Cole allowed five goals in region play as Evans amassed a 10-0 record in the regular season. The Knights advanced to the region championship as well as the first round of the state tournament.
