Linda Byrd was beautiful when she walked into the Fringe Hair Salon on Friday. She was beaming when she left.
It wasn’t her new wig or makeup, or even the photoshoot, it was how they made her feel that made her glow.
“ I have hair again,” said Byrd, who is fighting ovarian cancer.
She was one of 12 ladies fighting cancer who came to the salon for a little pampering as part of Curls for a Cure. The event is put on by MSA Hospice, the Georgia Regents University Cancer Center and the salon in Evans.
