As players hit the gridiron for the Georgia-Carolina rivalry game Saturday, there’s no reason fans should slave over a hot grill to enjoy game day fare.
The Exchange Club of Columbia County is offering smoked Boston butts during the second annual Butts for Backpacks sale.
Last year, the club members smoked 175 Boston butts to benefit the club’s program that provides backpacks and school supplies to children in need in the county.
“They start at about 5 p.m. on Friday,” said Darrell Byrd, past club president. “They smoke all night.
