Some sixty children took part in the Grovetown Liberty Runners final club championship fun run at Goodale Park on Saturday.
It was the culmination of three months of training for kids ages 4 and older, designed to keep kids physically active during the summer.
The club’s final run aimed to give the kids one last run before school gets back in session and just to have fun.
Started a decade ago by Grovetown Public Safety officer Sgt. Robert Eastman, the summertime running organization aims to keep kids active.
