Teen reports possible sexual assault by uncle

A teen told authorities Tuesday that his uncle possibly drugged and sexually assaulted him earlier in November.

The 19-year-old said his uncle invited him to his Columbia County residence on Nov. 7.

At the house, the boy drank a glass of water given to him by his 43-year-old uncle and lost consciousness.

Man found naked, beaten

A Richmond County Sheriff’s Office investigator was arrested Tuesday and charged with rape.

David Timothy Dutton, 35, of Keene Street in Martinez, was charged with rape, aggravated sexual battery, unlawful eavesdropping or surveillance and making false statements.

Woman steals boyfriend’s car A man reported Tuesday that his girlfriend stole his car after an argument..

The man called authorities at about 4 a.m. and reported that his vehicle was taken by his girlfriend, who refused to return it.

The 38-year-old man said he was putting his property into the vehicle to move back to Ohio when an argument ensued in the front yard of their Wendover Way residence near Grovetown.

Man stabbed while walking in Appling

A man recovering at Doctors Hospital on Monday told authorities he was assaulted and stabbed while walking home from an Appling convenience store.

After leaving a Circle K, the 46-year-old said he was walking in the 400 block of Carole Drive near Grovetown when he was struck in the head by an unknown object and passed out.
