12-year-old charged for school bomb threat
A Grovetown Middle School pupil was arrested Wednesday morning for making a bomb threat.
A 12-year-old was charged with felony terroristic threats in connection to a bomb threat made at the school on Tuesday, Grovetown Department of Public Safety Investigator James Tredore said.
A threat claiming its author had a bomb was written on a wall in the eighth-grade boys bathroom, Tredore said.
The school was evacuated and police, fire and emergency medical personnel responded.
