No cuts allowed

Two women fought in the drive-through of an Evans pharmacy.

Police responded to the CVS on Hereford Farm Road on Nov. 21. The victim told police she'd been waiting in line when another vehicle, driven by Anita Weldon, cut in front of her.

A witness told police she saw Weldon exit her vehicle when she realized the victim was recording her vehicle. The witness observed Weldon "start swinging" at the victim.

When Weldon tried to take the victim's phone, the victim grabbed Weldon's neck causing her necklace to break.

Police determined Weldon to be the primary aggressor.

Juvenile hits deputy

A juvenile was arrested after becoming combative with deputies responding to a domestic disturbance.

Police were called to the 1600 block of Cedar Hill Drive in reference to a fight in progress. They discovered the juvenile in the front yard holding a wooden table leg.

When police approached the juvenile, she began to walk toward the roadway. A deputy grabbed the girl's right arm and she turned and struck the deputy in the face with a closed fist. The deputy detained the girl until other deputies arrived.

The victim told police the girl became upset when she said the girl's boyfriend could not stay in the house. The girl took a table leg and walked to the front of the house. The victim followed her, and the girl struck her on the head with the stick.

Police reported the juvenile was uncooperative and physically aggressive throughout their interaction. She was transported to the Regional Youth Detention Center in Sandersville.
