Police: Woman ran drug house

A Martinez woman was arrested after police said she kept a home where drug use was encouraged and syringes and spoons used to ingest drugs were left within reach of a child.

Police arrested 46-year-old Kristine Gruber last week after discovering three others inside her Westmont Drive residence.

The home was "found to be a place of encouragement for the use of illegal drugs," the report stated.

The child's parents, Amanda B. Rester, 25, and Patrick Hunter Green, 24, were charged with possession of methamphetamine and contributing to the delinquincy and deprivation of a minor. The report also shows that Wayne Kenneth Bobo III was in possession of approximately 15 grams of heroin and was also charged with possession of methamphetamine.

Gruber was charged with maintaining a disorderly house.

 

Woman reports indecent act

A woman called police after she said an unknown male exposed his genitals in the parking lot of an Evans shopping complex.

The victim told police that the man, possibly in his 60s, pulled up beside her in the parking lot near Marshalls in Mullins Crossing and asked her for directions to Columbia Road, according to the incident report.

As the victim approached the car, she saw his pants were pulled down to his knees, exposing his genitals.

The victim told police that she had not been followed and had never seen the man before.

The suspect was described as a white man in his 60s with white facial hair.

The victim told police that the subject left the scene in a red Hyundai or Toyota with a possible out-of-state tag of DV1456.

A photo of the vehicle was captured by traffic light surveillance cameras at the intersection.

 

Crash leads to charge of reckless conduct
A woman was arrested after police said she grabbed the steering wheel of a car, causing it to crash into a concrete wall during an argument with the driver.

Police arrested Alexandra Callahan on June 13, after she admitted to officers that she did grab the steering wheel during the argument, according to the incident report.Callahan and her boyfriend were traveling on Interstate 20, with Callahan's child in the vehicle, when they got into a verbal argument. A passer-by who witnessed the crash stated that he saw Callahan arguing with the driver after the crash occurred.

The Department of Family and Children Services was called to the scene, and the child was placed into the custody of Callahan's mother.

Callahan was arrested and charged with reckless conduct and transported to the Columbia County Detention Center.

 

Witness reports public indecency

A man called police after he witnessed a nude man in the parking lot in Evans. The victim told police that he saw a black BMW parked in the parking lot of the old Adventure Crossing fun park on Wheeler Road.

A black man exited the vehicle in the nude, according to the incident report.

The victim said that the man then got back into his car and pulled up beside the victim's truck. The victim said that he warned the subject that he was armed and that he needed to leave the property.

The suspect then left the scene in his vehicle, according to the incident report.
